The Guest Annexe, thought to be originally a Victorian ‘rough’ farmer workers cottage, and has
been renovated and furnished to a high standard by the current owners.

Sitting/Dining Room:

 

Comfortably furnished with a leather Chesterfield sofa, leather reclining chair, 21” colour television with Teletext, Nicam video recorder, DVD player, CD/radio/cassette player, dining table and chairs, electric stove. A variety of games, pre-recorded video’s and DVD’s, books [fiction and non-fiction], jigsaws, and magazines are available for guest’s pleasure.

 

Kitchen: 

 

Fitted with Shaker style units. Fully equipped with electric cooker with separate grill, full size dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer, microwave oven, and fridge freezer. Besides general kitchen equipment other items available are an automatic kettle, electric toaster, multi-function coffee maker, a cafetiere, sandwich toaster, electric food steamer, hand mixer, food processor, Brita water filter jug [filter cartridges are not supplied], vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron. Wall-mounted electric fan heater.

Bathroom:

 

Fitted white three-piece suite, with electric over-bath shower, shaver point and airing cupboard. Towels provided. The airing cupboard houses the hot water tank with electric immersion heater. This has a timer with an override facility for convenience.

 

Bedroom:

 

Fully carpeted [new Oct 2005], with a double bed with duvet and linen or sheets, blankets, and built in wardrobes, pine set of drawers. Hair dryer. Sewing kit. [Cot and Single Folding Guest Bed are available, prior notification required.]

 

Garden:

 

Leading off the kitchen. At the rear of the property is a small courtyard style garden with a water feature, strictly for the use of Annexe guests. Retractable clothes line. Garden furniture (table, chairs, and parasol) available. This area is a real suntrap, weather permitting! 

 

Heating:

 

Oil fired central heating. The boiler is located and controlled in the proprietor’s bungalow. All radiators located in the lounge, bedroom and bathroom have thermostatic valves fitted. Portable electric heaters are also available in the Guest Annexe. 

 

Parking:

 

Off road parking for one or two vehicles.
